The Summer/Spring Issue of New Covenant's young adult newsletter "The Connection" is now out!

For those of you at New Covenant digitally connected to me, here is the latest issue of The Connection.  This summer/spring edition, Issue 9, has a theme of "prayer," which continues goal of working through New Covenant's ten values one newsletter at a time.  The intro article is by longtime New Covenant member, Dan Koskamp, and this issue's "Getting to Know" section features Tim & Sarah Barcz.  And in keeping with this issue's theme: Please note, the National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 6.  For those of you who want to participate in a local event that day, come to Green Square Park at noon for a one-hour time of corporate prayer.

A huge thanks to Dan for a wonderful article, thanks to Sarah and Tim for allowing me to barrage them with questions over email, and HUGE thanks to all those who are currently folding, labeling, and mailing the paper copies as I type this.  Copies will hopefully hit mailboxes this Saturday, May 1 (consider it my May Day gift to you!)

Miracle (by Robbie Seay Band)

</object><div style="font-size: 9px; margin-top: 2px;">Miracle (Deluxe Edition) - Rob...</div>

I should NOT have listened to the Robbie Seay Band's newest album "Miracle" on Lala.  As with every RSB album I've heard, the music deeply resonates with me, Robbie's "everyman" voice draws me in, and I long for more listens to capture the poetry and lyrics of the songs. But alas, you can only listen to an album one time on Lala, and my budget says more music is not a wise purchase at this time.

So I warn you.  If you don't have the finances, don't listen to this album.  Otherwise you'll find yourself praying for your own "miracle" to be able to purchase this incredible album.
